I'M BACK!

Well I took some time off from blogging to be with my son Noah and my DH Dean. Noah is our precious bundle of energy. He was born December 6th 2010 weighing 8.4 lbs and 21 1/4 in. From the beginning Noah has been ahead of his peers. He was holding his head up off the ground at just a few days old, he rolled over at 6 weeks old, has been crawling since the day before he turned 6 months, and the day after that he started pulling himself up on things. He will be 6 months and 4 weeks tomorrow. He has been eating cereal since 4 1/2 months and solids since 5 months. I make most of his food which I will be showing on here. Also we are signing to him. we just started that adventure with the signs; mommy, daddy, eat, more, and milk. I have been signing for a year and know close to 150 signs as of now. I started doing baby sign language when I was a nanny for a child who spoke mostly Russian but understood English. I read about BSL in my many late night hours researching things on the internet before Noah arrived. It worked well with him. He learned the basics very quickly; eat, drink, and sleep. I only was his nanny for 3 months because I was close to Noah's due date. So I have picked it back up and we are teaching Noah. Tomorrow I am actually teaching a class on BSL to the Baby and Me group at the New Parent Support Group. This should be interesting since I'm not very good at public speaking.
